Absolutely mesmerizing

The Cody Rivers Show was absolutely mesmerizing. Forgive me: I didn't, actually couldn't, write anything down. From moment one, when the duo performed a high-energy comedic dance piece using giant exercise balls, no one could tear their eyes away.

They tossed the balls back and forth, glided over them, flipped around each other, etc. Showing their variety and ability.

Their follow-up sketch was a rich, layered representation of our global community - they told the story of a possible merger between large aluminum and titanium manufacturers and its tentative effect on citizens from all walks of life.

To jump from place to place, the group mimed a globe and used their bodies to sweep the audience to each of its corners. This was sketch comedy done right: totally unique, unafraid of theatrics and delivered in the performer's own voice.
